“We are tapping our law enforcement agents to investigate the whereabouts and the identity of this person or persons who may be plotting against the President,” gibutyag ni Justice Undersecretary Jesse Andres sa usa ka press briefing sa Malacañang niadtong Lunes.
Miingon si Andres nga ang gobyerno mogamit sa tanan niini nga mga kapanguhaan og mga ahente sa pagpatuman sa balaod aron mailhan ang mga mamumuno.
“In the light of recent events, very alarming events, the government is taking action to protect our duly elected President. The premeditated plot to assassinate the President as declared by the self-confessed mastermind will now face legal consequences,” ingon ni Andres samtang mitudlo sa Bise Presidente nga ‘mastermind’ sa plano nga pagpatay.
Miingon usab si Andres nga ilang seryosohon ang hulga ni Vice President Duterte, sanglit siya usa sa labing taas nga opisyal sa nasud.
“Please understand that if ever this threat of assassination actually happens or is accomplished, she (Duterte) is the ultimate beneficiary,” ingon ni Andres.
“And we have to do everything to protect the President, understandably. If such even happens, who will benefit? She is the beneficiary of the death of the President,” dugang niya.
Nasayran ni Andres nga ang bise presidente kaniadto, mihimo usab og seryoso nga komento nga gusto niyang putlan og ulo ang Presidente. Ug karon, si Duterte nagpagawas og mas detalyado nga akusasyon bahin sa pagpangita og mamumuno aron patyon ang mga tawo lakip ang Presidente.
