Gov. Dolor inaugurates the brigade commander’s quarter in Bansud

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – Gov. Humerlito A. Dolor inaugurated yesterday the newly-built Brigade Commander’s Quarter in Brgy. Pag-asa, Bansud.

Dolor was joined by the 203rd Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Jose Augusto V. Villareal of the Philippine Army during the formal ceremonial cutting of the ribbon. It was followed by the unveiling ceremonies and inspecting the entire building to see compliance with the minimum safety standards.

According to the report of the Provincial Information Office (PIO), it is the fourth building built within the premises of the military camp funded by the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro.

Dolor said the initiative of the local government for the military is just right as police and the military have joint efforts because they continue to keep the peace and order in the entire island of Mindoro.

Dolor expressed his gratitude to the military for their active partnership in promoting and supporting programs of the local government for the citizens of Mindoro.

On the other hand, Villareal expressed his high recognition to the provincial government for the continuous outpouring of support for a long time.

Villareal said this has been a good legacy that he will leave when the time comes for his transfer of assignment because of the great help of the provincial government and other stakeholders of the Infantry Brigade to the military.  (LTC/PIA-OrMin)
