QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — State insurance fund, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) warns the public of a scam alert.
In an advisory, GSIS warns the public, especially its members and pensioners of a fake Viber account.
“The GSIS would like to inform the public that the “GSIS Customer Service” Viber account is NOT an official communication channel for GSIS. This Viber account is not associated with or authorized GSIS in any way.”

GSIS advises the public to take caution and avoid revealing sensitive or personal information via unapproved networks to protect data and other transactions.
To further guarantee the accuracy of information and security in transactions, the public is encouraged to only communicate through the following official channels:
