Guimaras gets “Bagong Pilipinas” mobile clinic

ILOILO CITY (PIA) – – The province of Guimaras is a recipient of a “Bagong Pilipinas” mobile clinic intended to enhance the access of Guimarasnons to basic health services.

Governor JC Rahman A. Nava personally received the “Bagong Pilipinas” mobile clinic during the turnover ceremony led by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos in Cebu City on August 5, 2024.

Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, Undersecretary Mary Ann Maestral and DOH Western Visayas Regional Director Adriano Suba-an also witnessed the event.

The “Bagong Pilipinas” mobile clinic, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and inspired by First Lady Marcos’ “Lab for All Project,” will bring free medical consultations, laboratory services, and distribution of medicines to communities.

It is already in the island province.

Also, dubbed as “clinic on wheels”, the project is in line with Governor Nava’s development agenda “Kabataan FIRST” aimed at providing responsive healthcare and social welfare services to Guimarasnons.
