BAGUIO CITY (PIA) — The local government of Flora, Apayao is proud of one of its daughter for topping the recent Respiratory Therapy board exams.
Hiyasmin Cortez Ramos from Poblacion West is among the Top 1 of the February 2023 Respiratory Therapy Licensure Examination.
“Thank you for bringing pride to the Floranians and holding high the banner of the province by clinching the Top 1 Rank during the February 2023 Licensure Examinations for Respiratory Therapists. The Municipal Government Unit of Flora is very proud of you,” the LGU of Flora headed by Acting Mayor Jeofrey Blas stated in a social media post.
The provincial government of Apayao headed by Governor Elias Bulut Jr. and Cong. Eleanor Bulut-Begtang also expressed their gladness and congratulated the young las for her achievement and the honor she brought to the province.
Ramos, a graduate of the Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus, had a rating of 90.75 .
The four other top 1 are Elaine Fleur Usman Fino from the Emilio Aguinaldo College – Dasmariñas, Shiara Lynneth Ludovice from the University of Perpetual Help System – Laguna, Michael Josef Maglantay Ramos from the University of Batangas and Prince Joshua Guzman Caraga also from the CSU – Andrews Campus.
Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus is the top performing school in said board examination with a 100% passing rate with all of the 133 examinees passing the exams, 11 of them in the list of topnotchers.
Meanwhile, three examinees from the Pines City Colleges in Baguio City are also among the topnotchers of the Respiratory Therapists board exams – Desiery Antonio who ranked No. 4 with a 90% rating, Jemlee Malado at No. 5 with a 89.75% rating and Kristine Joy Aloste at No. 8 with 89% rating.
“Congratulations to the three alumni of the Pines City Colleges for securing ranks in the Top Examinees during the February 2023 Respiratory Licensure Exam,” the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera said in its social media post.
“Their achievement has once again placed Cordillera into the limelight of academic excellence,” the post added.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 955 out of 1,345 passed the Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga this February 2023. (JDP/RMC- PIA CAR)
