QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Good news! In celebration of National Children’s Month, the Intramuros Administration announced free entrance to children this weekend.
Children aged 17 years and below can enjoy free entrance to Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, and Casa Manila on Saturday, November 23.
The treat is a perfect opportunity for kids to explore and experience the historic walled city.
Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10661, the National Children’s Month (NCM) or also known as “Buwan ng mga Bata” in the Philippines is annually celebrated every November to commemorate the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) on 20 November 1989.
Meanwhile, kids can also enjoy the Christmas lights and display Meralco Liwanag Park located at Plaza Roma. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
