Agriculture Secretary Francisco “Kiko” Tiu Laurel Jr. announced the pilot rollout of the P20/kilo rice program in Visayas, allowing each family to purchase 10 kilos per week or 40 kilos monthly.
The program aims for a nationwide implementation and is set to run sustainably until 2028.
