LAMUT, Ifugao (PIA) – – Eight Municipal Police Stations (MPS) in the province received units of tactical vests and motorcycles as part of the capability enhancement program of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Acting Ifugao Police Provincial Office Director Colonel Davy Vicente Limmong led the ceremonial turnover of said items worth more than P2 million at Camp Colonel Joaquin Dunuan in Lagawe town recently.
The MPS of Aguinaldo, Alfonso Lista, Kiangan, and Tinoc each received one unit of motorcycle and three units of tactical vests. Banaue MPS also received one motorcycle. The police stations in Hungduan and Lamut are also recipients of three units of tactical vests while four for Asipulo.
“We are happy to receive these new PNP motorcycles to equip our Municipal Police Stations to improve our response time. Please learn the mechanics and take good care of our vehicles and equipment in order to maintain its serviceability,” Limmong added. (JDP/MBL-PIA Ifugao)
