Iloilo City Police Office gets resources to boost mobility, efficiency

ILOILO CITY (PIA) – – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) received additional resources to boost its mobility and efficiency in responding to the safety and security needs of the community.

Highlighting the New Year’s Call and Command Conference of the police force on January 8 at the Iloilo City Hall was the ceremonial turnover of 80 long firearms, 250 radio batteries, and 3 patrol vehicles attended by Mayor Jerry P Treñas.

The ICPO led by director Police Colonel Kim P. Legada expressed profound gratitude to the Iloilo City government for its unwavering support in enhancing the operational capacity of the police force.

“The Iloilo City Government’s continued support reflects its strong partnership with the police force. These resources will greatly empower our personnel to perform their duties with utmost dedication and professionalism,” said Legada.

In line with this, the ICPO also renewed its commitment to ensuring peace and order in the city. It also aims to build a safer and more secure environment for all Ilonggos by working hand in hand with the local government.

“Together, let us embrace 2025 as a year of progress, unity, and unwavering service to the people,” said Legada.
