QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Good news! To ease the longstanding issues of flooding along Veronica De Leon Avenue, Delbros Avenue, and Pascor Drive in Brgy. Sto. Niño, Parañaque City, the Department of Public Works and Highways – Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office initiated the delivery of a drainage system, including improvements to surrounding area.
According to DPWH-NCR, the improved drainage system with a total span of 1,692.50 meters, the completion of this two-lane concrete road enables residents and businesses to have more convenient access to Ninoy Aquino Avenue main road.
Aside from safeguarding the lives and properties of residents and motorists traveling along the area, this initiative helps improve the efficiency of the delivery of goods, and services that will bring more livelihood opportunities.
This project is part of the ‘Build Better More’ program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. which aims to enhance safety and resiliency of roadways in the region. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
