The Philippines’ overall inflation in March 2025 eased at 1.8%, from 2.1% in the previous month. This brings the national average inflation rate from January to March 2025 to 2.2 percent.
This month’s downtrend in the overall inflation was brought about by the slower annual increment in the index of food and non-alcoholic beverages, and a faster annual decrease in the transport index.
Slower annual increases were also noted in the indices of clothing and footwear, furnishings, health, and recreation.
