LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) – – Five police units in the province were commended for their exemplary performance for the month of December 2022 that boosted the peace and order of the province.
Ifugao Police Provincial Office (IPPO) Provincial Director Colonel James Mangili commended the Municipal Police Stations (MPS) of Lagawe, Alfonso Lista, Lamut, Kiangan and Tinoc for their efforts in maintaining the peacefulness of said municipalities.
Mangili awarded the Certificate of Commendation to Lagawe MPS for arresting seven Top Most Wanted Persons of IPPO in one of the barangays of the municipality in December 12 last year.
The same commendation was also given to Alfonso Lista, Lamut and Tinoc for the implementation of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Unit that led to the arrest of wanted individuals.
Under the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating for the month of December 2022, Lagawe MPS placed first with an over-all rating of 98.32% while Kiangan MPS and Alfonso Lista MPS garnered rating of 98.29% and 98.15%, respectively.
The awarding ceremony was held at Camp Colonel Joaquin Dunuan in here witnessed by personnel and officials of the Provincial Police Office. (JDP/MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
