Isabela canvassing board proclaims winners of 2025 elections

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA)  — The Provincial Board of Canvassers (PBOC) has officially proclaimed the winners of the 2025 National and Local Elections for provincial positions in Isabela.

Incumbent Governor Rodito Albano III and Vice Governor Francis Faustino ‘Kiko’ Dy were both re-elected unopposed. Albano will serve his final term until 2028, while Dy begins his first term as vice governor.

All six congressional candidates were also proclaimed winners. Antonio ‘Tonypet’ Albano won in the 1st District, Ed Christopher Go in the 2nd District, Ian Paul Dy in the 3rd District, Joseph Tan in the 4th District, Faustino Michael Carlos Dy III in the 5th District, and current Vice Governor Faustino “Bojie” Dy secured the seat for the newly created 6th District.

For the Provincial Board, proclaimed winners include Evyn Jay Diaz and Emmanuel Joselito Añes for District 1; Ed Christian Go and Julie Reyes for District 2; Jose ‘Bentot’ Panganiban and Ramon Juan ‘RJ’ Reyes for District 3; Clifford Raspado and Abegail Sable for District 4; Jonathan Jose Calderon and Manuel Faustino ‘King’ Dy for District 5; and Marco Paolo Meris and Amador Gaffud Jr. for District 6.

Provincial Election Supervisor and PBOC Chairperson Manuel Castillo reported that the elections were conducted in an orderly and efficient manner, noting continued improvements in the electoral process. (MGE/PIA Isabela)
