Isabela LGU employs 4Ps college graduates

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – The Local Government Unit of Cabagan in Isabela province hired Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries who are college graduates as regular employees.

Mayor Christopher Mamauag said the program is one of the commitments during the exit program for family beneficiaries whose living status has already transitioned into self-sufficiency.

Mamauag said the beneficiaries who successfully finished their tertiary education are the priorities in their job placements to help their family sustain their status.

The mayor also said there were already 13 4Ps beneficiaries hired by the local government.

He also stated that the employment program is anchored on the thrust of the 4Ps to provide sustainable livelihood and job opportunities to the family beneficiaries.

Pamela Taguinod, a 4Ps beneficiary who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, expressed her gratitude to the municipal government for the opportunity to work in the local government and serve their locality.

Taguinod recently passed the licensure examination for teachers as her eligibility.

“I am proud to belong in the 4Ps as this is an instrument to finish my studies. To the LGU of Cabagan under the leadership of Mayor Mamauag, thank you for the opportunity to work to help my parents with our daily needs,” Taguinod said. (MGE/PIA Isabela)
