Isabela police report Bambanti Festival 2025 as peaceful, orderly

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) has confirmed that the Bambanti Festival 2025 was celebrated peacefully and orderly.

Provincial Director Col. Lee Allen Bauding praised the successful execution of the event, which lasted five days, noting the significant cooperation between local police, the Public Order and Safety Office, and the general public.

At least 600 police personnel were deployed across the festival grounds to ensure safety and order throughout the festivities.

Bauding expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between various security and public safety offices and the public’s cooperation, which contributed to the event’s smooth conduct.

The Bambanti Festival, held annually, serves as a thanksgiving celebration and an opportunity to showcase the province’s rich cultural heritage and tourist attractions.

Highlights of the 2025 festival included a fun run, music festivals, the Makan Ken Mainum contest, the grand coronation of Queen Isabela, visits from ambassadors, and numerous other activities that celebrated the province’s culture and tourism destinations. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
