Isabela receives new mobile clinic

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – The provincial government of Isabela received a new mobile clinic from the Department of Health. 

Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III said Isabeleños, who are far from the hospitals, can now avail of health care services through the mobile clinic.

The P10 million worth of the new mobile primary health care facility was personally awarded by First Lady Marie Louise Araneta Marcos and Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa at Clark Pampanga recently.

The new mobile clinic is equipped with cutting-edge medical tools such as an x-ray machine, and laboratory instruments including an ECG, urine analyzer, white blood cell analyzer, hemoglobin analyzer, fluorescence immunoassay analyzer, and ultrasound machine.

Dy said the issuance of the mobile clinic was realized through the initiative of DOH Undersecretary for Public Health Services, Dr. Glenn Matthew G. Baggao.

He said the mobile clinic is tailored to meet the healthcare needs of remote and underserved communities in the province which will improve significantly healthcare access in Isabela, particularly in remote areas.

He expressed his thanks to the DOH and the Office of the First Lady for the mobile clinic provided in the province of Isabela.

At least 33 new mobile clinics were turned over to the Local Government Units in the country including here in the Province of Isabela. 

The provision of the said mobile health facility is anchored under the Bagong Pilipinas vision of the Marcos administration through the Department of Health (DOH) aimed at strengthening healthcare services in various parts of the country. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
