CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – The Provincial Government of Isabela recently received ‘Pasidungog Award’ from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) for its commendable delivery of programs, projects, and activities of the office to the public.
“Pasidungog” is a Visayan term meaning “to give honor”. The award recognizes the synergy between government agencies and the private sector in collaboration with the OVP for nation-building.
VP Duterte personally presented the plaque to Gov. Rodito T. Albano III as an acknowledgment of his leadership in the pursuit of the social services programs and projects that greatly supported the OVP’s initiatives.
“The OVP would not have accomplished even half of what we have achieved without your trust. Your dedication to public service and your commitment to uplifting the lives of the Filipino people is invaluable,” Duterte said during the awarding.
Aside from the provincial government, the Provincial Information Office, Provincial General Services Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist were also recognized during the 2024 Pasidungog Awards rites.
On medical assistance, the Cauayan Family Hospital, Physical Therapy & Sensory Integration Center, Boulevard Pharma and Medical Supplies Distribution, and RC2 Trading were also recognized.
Various institutions, private and government organizations, individuals, and other partners from various parts of the country, which greatly contributed to the OVP’s social services, disaster operations, institutional support, and collaborations on special projects were also recognized.
