JTF NCR convenes People’s Organization Summit

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) of the Armed Forces the Philippines (AFP), through the 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion and the 12th Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment of the Philippine Army, recently held the First People’s Organization Summit at the Headquarters, 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City

Five People’s Organization participated in the summit that featured interactive discussions and training modules aimed at enhancing the capabilities and equipping the participants with tools to foster sustainable development within their communities.

JTF NCR underscored its commitment to civil-military collaboration, aiming to create positive and lasting impacts through community engagement and empowerment.

Supporting this significant endeavor is Director Jose Descallar, Director of Stakeholders Engagement of the National Task Force in Ending Localized Armed Conflict (NTF ELCAC) and Mr. Chrisol B. Catalino, of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU).

Likewise, the summit brought together representatives from various national government agencies in the National Capital Region, such as the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
