QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Navotas, and the City Government of Navotas recently partnered and hosted a Strategic Information Awareness Program for city leaders.
Focused on fostering peace, community empowerment, and reintegration initiatives in urban communities, the forum was participated in by various barangay officials of Navotas City led by Rochelle C. Vicencio, President of the Barangay League.
The event highlighted key national programs, including Executive Order No. 70 (EO 70), Capacitating Urban Communities for Peace and Development (CUCPD), Enhanced Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), and the Amnesty Program.
The forum was aimed at empowering local communities who play an active role in upholding peace and order, underscoring the importance of collaboration for sustainable development in the National Capital Region. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
