MANILA, (PIA) — The Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) and the 11th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) “Kaugnayan” Battalion of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment National Capital Region (DOLE NCR), handed over livelihood packages to some residents of Tondo in Manila.
The Livelihood Package – Bigasan ng Bayan was awarded to the members of Samahang ng Diwa ng Pagkakaisa sa Barangay 101 (SDBP) of Brgy. 101. Tondo Manila on Wednesday.
DOLE NCR Regional Director Atty. Sarah Mirasol led the activity, together with officials and guests from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and barangay officials.
The members of the SDBP will enjoy the distributed 570 sacks of rice as a starter package for their rice retail station and engage in an income-generating project provided by the government. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
