QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Making healthcare more accessible, the Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Operation Blessing Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. provided free medical and dental services to residents of Tondo in Manila.
The activity aimed to provide accessible healthcare to the residents of Barangay 20, Zone 2, through free consultations, treatments, and the distribution of free eyeglasses to those needing optical assistance.
Children in the community were given toys and food. Likewise, a film was shown to inform the community on the issues of the West Philippine Sea.
The medical and dental mission highlights the continued collaboration among government agencies, local government units, and non-government organizations to support communities in need, especially in Metro Manila. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
