JTF NCR, partners strengthen readiness, interoperability for crisis response in NCR

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Strengthening its unwavering commitment to resilience, the Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines on Saturday led the launching of the Joint Interagency Training and Exercise (JITEX) 2025 in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

JTF NCR Deputy Commander and Exercise Director Col. Romel P.  Recinto PN(M)(MNSA) led the launch, along with interagency partners and key officials of the NCR-Based Reserve Force.

Recinto said the interagency training exercise is a testament to a collective resolve to protect and serve the people.

“Through strengthened readiness, integration, and interoperability, we ensure that our forces – regular, reserve, and interagency- are fully prepared to face any contingency, from natural calamities to security challenges,” said Recinto.

According to JTF NCR, the groundbreaking initiative aims to enhance readiness, integration, and interoperability among the regular and reserve forces alongside interagency partners to ensure a unified, rapid, and effective response to large-scale emergencies and security contingencies within Metro Manila.
