QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — To ensure safe and peaceful elections in May, the Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines actively supports the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) in a series of joint checkpoint operations across Metro Manila.
“Our unwavering efforts aim to protect the sanctity of the electoral process and ensure the safety of every Filipino citizen,” according to JTF NCR.
JTF NCR added that the security provided aims to deter election-related violence and ensure public safety, in coordination with COMELEC and NCRPO. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
