JUST IN: Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda took his oath before President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., earlier at Malacañang.
Secretary Aguda served as the Digital Infrastructure Lead at the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC), a council created by President Marcos to assist his administration in fostering innovative synergies between the private and public sectors. The new DICT Secretary has an impressive track record in the banking industry and deep expertise in technology and digital transformation, having served as the President and CEO of UnionDigital Bank and held senior leadership roles at UnionBank as Chief Technology and Operations Officer and Chief Transformation Officer.
