CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga (PIA) — Residents and visitors will have one more place to go for their Christmas gifts or for their own use.
The Chamber of Kalinga Producers, Inc. (CKAPI) is holding its annual Christmas Bazaar along the provincial road side leading to the provincial capitol here from December 10 to 23.
CKAPI President Gina Madeo said 44 local producers and five guest exhibitors from Ifugao are participating in this event with their wide array of products such as native woven items, lady’s fashion wears and accessories, home wares, furniture, processed foods, decors, gifts, souvenirs, ornamental plants and many more.
The CKAPI annual Christmas sale is supported by the Department of Trade and Industry and local government units.
Madeo disclosed exhibitors are required registration fees of P1,500 for CKAPI members; P2,000 to non-CKAPI members, and P3,500 to guest exhibitors from outside the province. The fees will accrue to CKAPI fund for programs and projects
Through government interventions, the CKAPI had grown in membership and developed product quality. Participation in regional and national trade fairs has become a regular market opportunity of the group, Madeo said. (LL-PIA CAR, Kalinga)
