‘Katedral ng Tagbilaran’ historical marker unveiling

Tagbilaran, BOHOL — The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by its Executive Director Carminda R. Arevalo, will unveil the historical marker, “Katedral ng Tagbilaran” on 30 May, 4:30 p.m. The marker states:

NHCP Executive Director Arevalo will present the historical marker. Diocese of Tagbilaran Bishop Alberto S. Uy will deliver his acceptance message after signing the certificate of transfer. Witnesses to the signing are NHCP Deputy Executive Director Alvin R. Alcid and St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral Shrine Parish Priest Fr. Efren A. Bongay.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research, and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures. (NHCP)
