KIANGAN, Ifugao (PIA) – – “You care for and support a child today; he will grow up to care for and support the nation tomorrow!”
The Kiangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and its partners joined efforts in providing assorted school supplies and slippers and free services to 25 daycare children of Barangay Bolog here.
The Day Care teacher was also given supplies for her visual aids, and other activities of the learners.
Snacks were also provided through Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (MAGPTD) Vice Chairperson Anne Grace Dumangeng.
The 145th Special Action Company, 14 Special Action Battalion PNP Special Action Force provided free haircut services to the daycare children. Lectures on the Anti-bullying Act of 2013, rape prevention tips, proper hygiene, and fire prevention tips were also conducted.
The Kiangan MPS and 145th SAC-SAF spearheaded the activity in partnership with the local government unit, MAGPTD and the Bureau of Fire Protection.
The Kiangan MPS has been conducting school-based outreach activities and facilitating the provision of school supplies and free services as part of its project dubbed “PAMHOD”. (JDP/MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
