CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – A labor group in the province has expressed its full support to the implementation of Executive Order No. 70 otherwise known as the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) of the government.
The Consolidated Alliance of Independent Labor Union (CAILU) based in this province has signified its support during the launching of the industrial peace alliance lecture on labor management relations and organizing operations in labor sector held at the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army in Gamu on November 9, 2023.
The activity was conducted by the army camp aimed to protect the workers against the left-leaning and communist terrorist groups’ threats and influence.

De Vera acknowledged the efforts of the soldiers in conducting the information campaign to curb the infiltration of the CTGs in their company.
“We will help the soldiers to inform our fellow labor unions in the province in sharing the necessary information to avoid or used by the deception of the rebel groups,” De Vera said.
He said the CAILU will fully support the military’s efforts to enable labor groups avoid the deceptions of the rebels in their organizations. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
