Lanao Sur citizens enjoy services caravan of prov’l gov’t

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)–As the celebration of the 64th Araw ng Lanao del Sur this year continues, the provincial government of Lanao del Sur ensured that its constituents would be given time to relish the basic government services through a week-long caravan.

Uniting for one goal which is to render public service, the said activity was participated by at least 30 line agencies that offered assistance within their pledged mandate.

Resident Junaid Hamid who queued for the renewal of license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF) was elated over the provincial government for bringing basic services closer to them.

He stated that the process he underwent was swift, and the venue was not crowded as it was spacious enough.

“Nagpapasalamat kami kay provincial governor para dito sa binigay niyang area,” said Hamid.

(We are thankful to the provincial governor for giving us this area.)

For her part, Norjihan Jamael, also a resident of the same province, was delighted to be able to benefit from the exhibit offering various government agencies.

She shared that she visited the provincial capitol to process her clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) whose office is still in Iligan City.

Jamael stated that because of the organized caravan, she was able to save money which was supposedly intended for her fare.

She commended the process which she found smooth.

On the other hand, resident Sittie Ali likewise enjoyed the service caravan as she joined the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority’s (TESDA’s) free demonstration on how to bake a cake.

She was positive that her fellow participants would be able to start a relevant business as they learned enough during the said demonstration.

“Ang masasabi ko ay maganda ito sa amin na mga mamamayan dahil ang mga gustong magkabusiness nito ay makakabusiness. Natutunan namin dito kung paano magluto at magbake,” said Ali.

(All I can say is that this is wonderful for us, citizens because those who want to come up with this business will have this business. We learned how to cook and bake.) (CRG/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
