LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte (PIA)—The state-run Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) is encouraging its depositors to grow their savings through its “IpoNalo” promo, which offers exciting prizes including cash and gadgets.
Julieta Esteban, assistant vice president and head of the Landbank-Laoag City Branch in Ilocos Norte, said this is one of the ways that the bank is giving appreciation and thanks to its loyal and valued customers.
“We want to help by speeding and improving our customers’ savings through Landbank’s secure and reliable deposit products while promoting and rewarding healthy saving habits,” she said during the “Danggay ti Panag Dur-as” radio program of PIA Ilocos Norte.
Esteban said that in the promo, Landbank will give prizes, including cash prizes and gadgets.
“We will be giving away 36 units each of iPhones, iPads, and Macbook Airs. There will also be major winners of cash prizes of P250,000 for third place, P500,000 for second place, and P1,000,000 for the grand prize,” she added.
The promo, which started on July 3, 2024, is open to all new and existing private individuals and institutional Landbank deposit account holders.
Qualified depositors can earn one e-raffle ticket by maintaining a certain Average Daily Balance (ADB): every P100,000 for individual depositors; and every P1,000,000 increment for institutions and corporations.
The promo will run until January 31, 2025, and the draw date will be February 14, 2025.
Esteban hopes Ilokano bankers will join in the promo to reward their loyalty to the Landbank branch.
She added that the Landbank-Laoag City Branch is continuously promoting their digitization efforts so bankers can avail themselves of their online facilities and services for convenience.
“Currently, we want more Ilokanos to know about our LANDBANKasama Program in remote areas of the province, which will provide basic banking services in far-flung areas and underserved communities here,” she added.
LANDBANKasama aims to increase financial inclusion by providing cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, bill payments, and balance inquiries in underserved communities. (AMB/EJFG, PIA Ilocos Norte)
