Lawig villagers grateful for PNP facility in their barangay

LAMUT, Ifugao (PIA) – – The officials and villagers of Lawig   in this municipality appreciated the Philippine National Police through the Ifugao Police Provincial Office for constructing the headquarters of the First Provincial Mobile Force Company’s Second Manuever Platoon in their barangay.

“We lucky that we are the host of this facility that will enhance stability and peacefulness of our place. We assure our support to the peace and order program of the PNP for a peaceful community,” Punong Barangay Honorio Anudon, Jr. stated.

The building was inaugurated on January 17 and attended by police and local officials.

Ifugao Police Provincial Director Colonel James Mangili advised the troops to be assigned in the area to be a vanguard of peace and order for the benefit of the people.

“Maintain discipline among your ranks and be a role for the promotion of excellent service in the community,” Mangili said.

A total of 32 troopers led by a police captain as the platoon leader will be deployed in area to help maintain peace and order and other related functions. (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
