Learners from far-flung Ifugao barangay benefit from outreach program

ASIPULO, Ifugao (PIA) — At least 60 learners of Namal Elementary School (ES) in barangay Namal, Asipulo benefitted  from the Community Outreach Program organized by the 145th Special Action Company, 14 Special Action Battalion of the Special Action Force (SAF).

This initiative aimed  to enhance the well-being of the local community, was conducted in collaboration with the Asipulo Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Barangay, Sangguniang Kabataan Government Unit of Namal, and the 3rd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company.

The team  facilitated essential training sessions on basic life support, conducted  first-aid lecture, and  distributed Information, education, and communication materials to contribute to the learners’ knowledge and awareness.

The  group also distributed food packs, backpacks, and t-shirts, providing tangible support to the students. Free haircut  was  also provided  to the learners.

The teachers and students of Namal ES expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the team for their invaluable contributions.
