Legal Luminary: PH has Int’l commitment to cooperate with ICC

Atty. Edgar Avila, a legal luminary and former dean of the College of Law of Saint Louis University, explained that the Philippine government just cooperated with INTERPOL into taking to custody former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Avila said that under the Constitution, whether the Philippines is a member or not of the ICC, we have an international commitment.
He said that INTERPOL gave a red notice to the Philippine National Police asking for custody of the former president on behalf of INTERPOL who delivered him to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
