BURGOS, Isabela (PIA) – – The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Burgos, Isabela has acquired a new service vehicle funded through the Seal of Good Local Governance-Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF).
The initiative, supported by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), aims to enhance local governance and community services.
DILG Regional Director Agnes De Leon lauded the LGU’s leadership for effectively utilizing the funds to benefit the community.
She noted that the vehicle will significantly aid the LGU in delivering programs and services that strengthen cultural and socio-economic activities.
DILG Provincial Director Corazon Toribio added that the SGLG-IF recognizes LGUs that have excelled in the SGLG assessment, commending Burgos officials for their dedication to serving constituents.
Mayor Isis Dominique Uy highlighted that the acquisition symbolizes the collective effort of local leaders and the community.
