LRTA urges content creators, public to act responsibly, adhere to train safety regulations

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) strongly urged content creators and the public to act responsibly while inside their facilities and adhere to train safety regulations.

This came after a Tiktok video circulated on social media featured a train passenger setting up a dinner table date on a moving LRT-2 train.

In an advisory, the LRTA clarified that the videos titled “random train date” uploaded by a content creator, were created without proper authorization or clearance from the management.

The LRTA said such reckless activities are “strictly prohibited” on LRTA premises and facilities.

“We urge content creators to act responsibly by respecting their fellow passengers and adhering to LRTA safety and security regulations. Safety and consideration for other should always be a priority when using our Train services.”

Likewise, the LRTA reminds the public that the agency reserves the right to take appropriate action against individuals who violate safety and security guidelines. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
