DAVAO CITY, December 5 (PIA) – – Ablihan sa Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang walo ka extension offices sa lain-laing dakbayan sa rehiyon sa Davao sa tuig 2025.
Sa gipahigayong media conference sa Apo View Hotel, Davao City, Disyembre 5, gibutyag ni Yuri Lim, ang nangulo sa regional law enforcement section sa LTO XI, nga ang mga extension offices ibutang sa Bansalan ug Sta Cruz sa Davao del Sir; Calinan ug Bunawan-Lasang sa Davao City; Pantukan ug Compostela sa Davao de Oro; ug San Isidro ug Caraga sa Davao Oriental.
“The opening of the said offices will decongest the existing district offices,” matod ni Lim.
Nagkanayon sab sa maong road safety officer nga ang basehan sa pagpili sa lokasyon sa bag-ong extension offices mao ang distansya sa kasamtangang mga district offices.
Sa pagkakaron, adunay siyam ka district offices ug upat nga mall-based offices ang LTO XI nga nahimutang sa lain-laing lugar sa rehiyon.
“Compared to mall-based offices that are only limited to renewal of driver’s license and issuing of student permit, this newly created (extension) offices are full blown offices that will cater student permit applicants, renewal of driver’s licenses, renewal of registration, application of driver’s license (among others),” ingon niya.
Dugang ni Lim nga sa pagkakaron, nakipag-alayon na sila sa mga Mayor sa mga nasulting lungsod, ug ang nahisgutang extension offices mahimo ra nga ipahumutang sa kasamtangang building nga ginapag-iya sa lokal nga panggamhanan.
“The personnel will come from the district offices; the office will also hire new ones; and hopefully, the local government units can also provide manpower complement,” ingon niya.
