LTO posts P6.4M revenue collection from October to November in Quirino

CABARROGUIS, Quirino (PIA)- – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Quirino reported a revenue collection of at least PP6,472,472.68 for October and November of 2024.

In her report during the fourth quarter Provincial Peace and Order Council meeting, LTO Quirino Chief Jovy M. Abarriao said the top three frequently committed violations are: Invalid Registration- 383 apprehended violators; and Driving Without License -352; Without Helmet- 78, with the total of 813.

“The number of apprehensions as of November 22, 2024, is 1,252, and 512 of them were already settled,” Abarriao reported.

Abarriao also said their office was able to register 2,764 motor vehicles for October and a total of 558 vehicles as of November 22, 2024.

Furthermore, Abarriao reported that 2,345 licenses were issued from October 1 to November 22, 2024.

The LTO provincial chief said they supervised the conduct of the Free Theoretical Driving Course Seminar Course by the driving schools in Maddela and spearheaded seminars, information, and education campaigns/leafleting activities for tricycle operators and drivers’ associations in Diffun.

“Our office is also continuously conducting mobile licensing, registration, and plate replacement distribution,” Abarriao said. (OTB/TCB/PIA-2, QUIRINO)
