MAKATI CITY, (PIA) — Keeping safe from dengue, especially this rainy season, the City Government of Makati distributed plants against mosquitoes.
Led by the Makati Health Department (MHD) and the Department of Environment Services (DES), the team recently distributed plants to residents of Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo.
Among the plants distributed are citronella, oregano, lantana, and lemongrass – plants with natural properties that repel mosquitoes.
Meanwhile, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay urged residents to maintain cleanliness in their community to prevent breeding grounds of mosquitoes. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
