MAKATI CITY, (PIA) — Good news! The City Government of Makati, together with AC Mobility, Ayala Land Estates, and the Makati Central Estate Association, Inc. (MACEA) unveiled the city’s electric vehicle (EV) charging hub.
Makati City Mayor Abby Binay and other officials led the city’s groundbreaking electric vehicle (EV) charging station network.

This initiative highlights Makati’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, positioning the city as a trailblazer in deploying the most extensive EV charging network in the Philippines.
The city of Makati currently has the nation’s highest number of EV charging stations, boasting over 74 charging points in 18 key areas.
According to the city government, the program will expand by the end of January to nearly 100 charging points, enhancing accessibility for residents and visitors. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
