MANILA, (PIA) — The city government of Malabon has released the second tranche of financial assistance under the Malabon Ahon Blue Card (MABC) program, marking a continued commitment to support residents in need. This aid was distributed on Monday.
This release constitutes the 10th tranche of assistance since the MABC program was initiated in 2022. The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Office announced that 86,674 MABC holders are eligible for this second round of “ayuda.”
“Good news po para sa mga Malabueño! Matapos ang pamamahagi ng unang ayuda noong nakaraang buwan, pwede niyo pong i-claim ang ikalawang ayuda para sa taong 2025. Ito po ay bahagi ng ating pagpapatupad ng ating mga pangako at layunin,” said Mayor Jeannie Sandoval. She emphasized the ongoing efforts to implement programs aimed at improving the lives of Malabueños.
Beneficiaries will receive a text message from the Universal Storefront Services Corporation (USSC) prior to claiming their cash aid. A list of qualified recipients is available on the MABC Facebook page.
Residents can withdraw their cash assistance at BancNet-powered ATMs or any USSC branches nationwide starting today.
The city government is also encouraging residents to use their MABCs as debit cards for purchases at stores equipped with point-of-sale (POS) devices, bringing added convenience for everyday transactions.
They remind residents to secure their MABCs and report any lost or damaged cards to USSC or the MABC office located on the 4th floor of Malabon City Hall.
MEAL indicated that the schedule for distributing aid to the second batch of beneficiaries will be announced soon.
“Ikalawang ayuda na para sa taong ito ang ating nasimulang ipamahagi at dapat abangang ng mga Malabueño ang mga susunod pa. Dahil ang pagkakaisa, bayanihan, at pagtulong ay buhay sa ating puso at diwa bilang mga Malabueño,” said City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete, reaffirming the local government’s dedication to support its constituents.
