MANDALUYONG CITY, (PIA) — The City Government of Mandaluyong and the Municipal Government of Batan in the province of Aklan, signed a sisterhood agreement.
Mandaluyong City Mayor Ben Abalos, Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos, Batan Mayor Mike Ramos, and Vice Mayor JK Amir Demetrio formally signed the sisterhood agreement.
The agreement strengthens the relationship and trade of the two local governments.
Aside from the signing of the sisterhood agreement, the delegation also participated in discussions on the methods, projects, and programs implemented by Mandaluyong that served as key of the city government to achieving the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
