MANDALUYONG CITY, (PIA) — The City Government of Mandaluyong formally received from the Department of Social Welfare and Development National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) the ‘Listahanan’ database to further the city government’s assistance to families who are most in need.

Mandaluyong City Ben Abalos and Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos recently received the database from DSWD-NCR Regional Director Atty. Michael Joseph Lorico.

The Listahanan program or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) is the information management system of the DSWD that determines who and where the disadvantaged individuals and families are located throughout the country.

The underprivileged ultimately benefit from the Listahanan as it is used by government agencies and other organizations that deliver social protection programs and services. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
