SAN JUAN CITY (PIA) — The Department of Environment and Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) will take the spotlight in the 8th Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas on July 16, Tuesday, to showcase its accomplishments and bare plans of improving the air quality, water quality, and solid waste management in the region.
DENR-NCR Regional Executive Director Atty. Michael Drake P. Matias will lead the forum and answer questions from the media, along with other officials of the Regional Office and Environmental Management Bureau.
The Manila Bay rehabilitation will also be discussed to give updates on its improvement.
Online processing of permits and certificates will also be reintroduced as part of the Department’s step towards digitization.
