In an interview, Mayor Honey said that the reopening of the rehabilitated underpass will help ease the traffic along the major thoroughfare, especially during the holiday rush.

The renovation of the national highway, which was started in May this year, gave improvements to its drainage system and overall road structure, hoping to lessen the travel time of public utility vehicles (PUVs), public utility jeepneys (PUJs), and private vehicles. (Manila/PIA-NCR)
