Marawi Compensation Board goes online to expedite siege losses claim processing

MARAWI CITY (PIA) — Recognizing the need for a swift resolution, Marawi Compensation Board (MCB) Chairperson, Lawyer Maisara Damdamun Latiph, said the board has implemented technology-based measures to expedite the 2017 Marawi Siege losses claim processing.

“We launched an online filing system [OFS] in October 2023, making the process more accessible to those who are unable to travel or who prefer to submit their claims remotely. We have also established online help desks to assist those who need help with the application process. We launched our Docket Status Tracking System so claimants could track the progress of their claims,” Atty. Latiph said.
