Marikina City Rescue team trains youth on basic water rescue

MARIKINA CITY, (PIA) — The members of the Marikina City Rescue 161 recently conducted a training for the Marikina youth on basic water rescue as part of the rescue medic volunteer of the city’s rescue team.

According to the city government, continuous training conducted by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and volunteer groups provide residents with the right knowledge and skills in responding to floods and similar disasters

Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro called on the people of Marikina to continue working hand in hand to overcome challenges. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
