MARIKINA CITY, (PIA) — Good news! Senior citizens of Marikina City will get an additional birthday cash incentive.
Starting this August, each senior citizen will receive an additional Php1,000 birthday cash gift.
Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro signed Ordinance No. 40, series of 2024, increasing the benefit from Php1,000 to Php2,000.
Mayor Marcy said that the simple gesture is not just a financial benefit, but a recognition and appreciation to senior citizens of Marikina for their role in shaping the city.
The senior citizens of Marikina thanked the local government for recognizing and valuing the seniors of the city. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
