QUEZON CITY, (PIA) – Through the “Mayor’s Hour: Ugnayan sa City Hall” program, Caloocan City residents are able to talk with Mayor Along Malapitan in person to directly air their concerns, eliminating barriers to effective public service.
“Isa po ito sa mga paraan upang mas maipadama ang pagkalinga at malasakit ng buong Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Caloocan sa bawat Batang Kankaloo,” said Malapitan.
(This is one of our means to extend the initiative of the local government to cater to the welfare of each Caloocan resident.)
The department heads of the different local government offices also participate in the conduct of Mayor’s Hour to provide immediate response and solution to inquiries and problems confronting the residents.
In addition, various sectors from the grassroots communities in Caloocan are given the opportunity to share their advocacies and gain local government support, particularly in terms of projects that are aligned with local development programs.
“Palagi pong bukas sa mga Batang Kankaloo ang aking tanggapan para magbigay ng agarang solusyon sa inyong mga hinaing,” Malapitan added.
(The Mayor’s Office is always open to provide immediate solutions to your problems and grievances.)
The “Mayor’s Hour Ugnayan sa City Hall” program was first launched in July 2023 as part of Mayor Along Malapitan’s inaugural projects aimed at strengthening the connection between the people and local government for a more meaningful improvement and towards the establishment of inclusive development.
