Ginpahayag ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas nga ang administrasyon ara sa maathag kag husto nga dalan, ilabi na sa paghatag sang prayoridad sa mga importante nga proyekto kag programa sa mga sektor pareho sang agrikultura, edukasyon, kag ikaayong lawas.
“I extend my warm congratulations to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for delivering a comprehensive State of the Nation Address. As evidenced by the highlighted achievements of his administration, our President has indeed been doing very well over the past two years, showcasing his effective leadership and his ongoing commitment to excellence,” ang pahayag ni Treñas.
Ginkilala man sang alkalde ang pagtapos sang Cebu-Negros-Panay backbone project nga nagaserbe nga solusyon sa madugay na nga blackout sa Panay; kag ang mabaskog nga panindugan sang Presidente sa West Philippine Sea kag batuk sa mga ilegal nga Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
“These actions reflect his dedication to safeguarding our national interests and protecting our citizens. As the city mayor, I assure the continued support of the Iloilo City Government towards President Marcos Jr.’s leadership,” dugang pa ni Treñas.
Samtang, ginpahayag naman ni Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr., nga nalipay man ini sa SONA sang Presidente bangud ini matuod-tuod nga nagplastar sang mga nahimo sang administrasyon sang nagligad nga mga tinuig.
Ginhatagan pagtamod ni Defensor nga ang mga programa sang administrasyon sa agrikultura kag pagsabat sa mga isyu sa edukasyon ang naga-ayun man sa tinutuyo sang gobyerno probinsyal.
Ginpasalamatan man sang gobernador ang Presidente sa pagsambit sang bag-o lang gin-inagurahan nga mega dams sang Jalaur River Multi-Purpose Project Stage II (JRMP II) sa Calinog, Iloilo nga makabenepisyo sa linibo ka mga mangunguma nga Ilonggo; kag bisan wala ginsambit ang taytay sang Panay-Guimaras-Negros (PGN), nagapati si Defensor nga matuman ini sa gihapon.
Gindayaw man ni 3rd district Representative Lorenz Defensor, 5th district Rep. Raul “Boboy” Tupas, kag Uswag Ilonggo Party-list Rep. James “Jojo” Ang ang SONA sang Presidente kag nagpahayag sang ila suporta sa mga plano kag polisa sang administrasyon.
“He was very articulate in delivering his SONA, in telling his accomplishments and other plans that his administration wants to do for the country. It is very commendable because as a President, he listens, observes and feels his people, the nation,” pahayag ni Tupas sa isa ka radio interview.
“We are happy that he stood up for the West Philippine Sea and it strengthens our sense of nationalism. Also, on the total banning of POGO, we praised him for that because we support it. We want progress but it should be done correctly,” siling naman ni Ang.
Sa pihak nga bahin, ginpahayag ni Iloilo City lone district Rep. Julienne “Jamjam” Baronda nga ang pagpalangga kag pag-ulikid sang Presidente sa pungsod madalum nga nabatyagan sang mga pumuluyo paagi sa iya SONA.
“He enumerated the social transformations his leadership has achieved, which are all meant to help rescue the people from misery and poverty,” siling ni Baronda, kung sa diin iya man ginkilala ang paghatag prayoridad sang Presidente angut sa mga programa sa ikaayong lawas, edukasyon, kag turismo.
