Mine firm completes road network in Nueva Vizcaya

DUPAX DEL NORTE, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) – The Didipio Mine recently turned-over  a farm to market road in Barangay Binuangan, Depax Del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya to uplift the living condition of the upland villagers in the community.

The FMR and concrete drainage canal is the  fourth Community Development Fund project completed in this town by Didipio Mine.

The project consists of 207-meter-long by 6-meter-wide farm-to-market road and 207-meter-long concrete drainage canal along Binuangan-Giayan road.

The project was accepted by barangay officials headed by Barangay Captain Belimor Kenjuran.

Board Member Florante Gerdan lauded the Didipio Mine’s  responsible mining practices  and its various socio-economic  development investments to the province.

“The Didipio Mine is doing its role in ensuring responsible and sustainable mining operations in their areas of coverage. They are also giving various assistance through roads and scholarship grants, among others,” he said.

Local officials said 9 more projects under Didipio Mine’s CDF are in the pipeline for Dupax del Norte town. (BME/PIA NVizcaya)
